pre-core-swap (date) tar.gz, can I delete?

  • I hope someone can help. I found a file named pre-core-swap (date) tar.gz file in my wordpress directory. It is over 1 billion bytes. Can I safely delete it? It is dated just 2 weeks ago.

    Also, I have quite a large .log file. Over 107,000,000 bytes. Can I delete that?
