[Pre-buy check] amr users plus grouping

    Loving the plugin, but right now I can’t include custom user taxonomies as fields in my user lists, so I’m thinking about buying amr users plus grouping.

    On the features list it says ”almost any field can be used as the grouping field”. Does this mean that the fields I already have in my list can be used for grouping, or does it mean that I can add any field as grouping such as a custom taxonomy?

    Hi wptobe,

    the field has to be ‘able’ to be in the list to be used as a grouping field.

    There are filters you can use to add in fields that are not in wp user and user meta tables. That is what most of the add-ons do.

    I haven’t used user taxonomies yet. If they are stored in the user meta, then once you have sample data setuo and run ‘find fields’, the plugin will pick up the new user meta.

    I’m not PHP-savvy enough to know how to filter in the fields I want, but I’ll look it up and check back for pointers if I get stuck.
