Practice with a small site and a large one is simple.

  • This took a very little bit of practice moving a simple WP site to a sub-domain and again to an unregistered domain which I messed up by unzipping the archive part of the package looking for the installer. (Note to the inquisitive – Don’t do that.) Download the 2 files separately, put them in a safe place on your hard drive and you’ll be able to restore your site if everything goes wrong. AND that works perfectly.
    Now a big fat DIVI project is live and being worked on without interrupting the live site and I know that when the work is done it will drop in place and just work. Suddenly I like working on this project again. ??
