PPOM not working in shopping cart / checkout with 2 languages using WPML

    Hi,

    I have 2 languages on the website. English and German.
    When I order something on the English page everything seems to work.
    Everything is listed in the shopping cart, the price is added correctly etc.

    But when I switch to German nothing of the product add-ons is added to the item shopping cart neither to the checkout. But I can choose the extra product add ons

    So PPOM is not working in shopping cart & the checkout on second language using WPML.

    WC version: 3.3.3
    WP version: 4.9.2
    PPOM version: 11.0

    WooCommerce Multilingual

    Please make sure you have selected same meta in German Product.

    Hey, the same meta is selected in the German product. I can’t even choose another one. The meta (Checkboxes, radio buttons etc) is also shown on the Frontend when I select a variation but isn’t shown if I look in the shopping cart or checkout area (only for the German product).

    I thought it was a JS error because of 2 wpnonce ID’s when ordering as a guest but it doesn’t work when I’m logged in aswell.

    can you please share URL or product page in both languages?

    Hi,

    the meta is shown on both itmes in both languages.

    Product Page ENG

    Product Page GER

    Try to add one ENG-item and one GER-item to the shopping cart and you can see on the GER-item there is no meta data shown anymore.

    Hey, I solved the problem.
    I couldn’t choose a meta for German language because the WMPL Plugin called “Multilingual for WooCommerce” implements a WPML Translation Editor which simply redirects to a translation page for the German product instead to the actual product itself.

    So in case to add a meta for a second language you have to do following:
    – Switch to the second language and go to product overview (see picture)
    – Go to WooCommerce Multilingual >> Settings >> Choose “Native WooCommerce product editing screen” (see picture)
    – Go to your product page again and choose your PPOM
    – Now you can set back the WC-ML-Settings to “WPML Translation Editor”
    – And it’s working! (See picture)
