PP Future not auto calculating expiration date on custom CPT with Future enabled

    I have this issue on 2 sites currently.

    The only commonality I can find is that I am using PP Future on custom post types created by CPT UI where the Gutenberg Editor is DISABLED for these CPTs.

    The settings are set to Active and Auto-Enabled, I have it set to “+1 month”.

    I have tried changing the setting in PP > Advanced – Block Editor Support and both times the calculated future date is today’s date.

    I tried re-enabling the Gutenberg editor for a CPT. While this seems to work, it doesn’t auto-calculate until you save/publish the post. When the edit page opens to start a new entry, the default date showing is January 1970.

    Can someone look into why this wouldn’t work with a custom CPT with Gutenberg disabled?

    Thanks for this report.

    We received some similar reports, but yet still unable to replicate this.

    I tested create CPT using CPT UI and still unable to replicate this.

    Could you kindly inform us how did you disable Gutenberg for your site? Maybe we did it incorrectly.

    Thanks for looking into the issue. I tried your hotfix update and it did in fact work!

    I appreciate your quick response and fix to this.

    When will this fix be available for all websites to update to?

    @nauran81 Some users are still encountering this issue, and we’re actively working on providing another patch to address it. Once we confirm that the updated version meets the needs of all users, we’ll include it in the next release.
