I added PowerPress only for the automatically created “subscribe” page. I’m planning to revamp the website and this is a stop-gap measure for now.

The problem I’m having is that PowerPress automatically creates an RSS feed. I have an RSS feed already, it’s with Libsyn. Right now I’m not going to migrate (but it’s something I’ve been considering, I just need to take care of a couple other things first, like the website!)

Can anyone tell me how I can STOP Powerpress from creating an RSS feed? Is there any way I can change it so that the Powerpress uses my libsyn RSS (if that’s what I need to do!).

Finally, I have had a page for years, linked from my menu bar, that had an audio player:

    https://inglesdesdecero.ca/podcast/

The Powerpress RSS feed now overrides my pre-existing page.

Any tips on how I can disable this Powerpress RSS feed and get my page back to the way it was?

    Hi dsb264,

By default, PowerPress will control the /podcast/ slug within your WordPress site. This support document has some suggestions on how you can change that:
    https://blubrry.com/support/powerpress-documentation/disabling-powerpress/

    Also, do this:
1.) Log in to your WordPress site
2.) Go to PowerPress >> Settings >> Feeds tab >> Feed Settings (on the left) and copy/paste your Libsyn feed URL into the PodcastMirror feed URL field and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page
3.) Clear any site caches, if applicable

Doing so will redirect the PowerPress-generated feed on your WordPress site to your show’s Libsyn feed and will also cause any RSS links generated by PowerPress to point to the Libsyn feed.
