• For a basic table, this plugin allows creating much richer and better-designed tables than the native page editor would allow, and it’s pretty easy to create.

However, lots of modifications are not intuitive and require CSS for things I would deem basic like cell background color or text color.

Yet thanks to the helpful and relatively quick to respond support, much of those problems are solvable.

The text overflow (in a case of a long header) is not perfect and there is no way to design the table grid (even just for pro account).

The plugin is pretty stable and can add a good value when in need for a table.
I would consider it a must have plugin.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason why I decided to use CSS instead of user interface options basically is flexibility: With a user interface, the question always is where do you stop? Which styling option should be available and which one shouldn’t? In the end, CSS offers them all and is more flexible, e.g. if one wants to set multiple styling options at once.

    Regards,
    Tobias
