powerful shortcode – not just a simple slider

    The oik-nivo-slider plugin provides an advanced [nivo] shortcode.
    In its simplest form it will display the images attached to a post or page.

    But there are many advanced scenarios which allow you to make a slideshow out of just about any content, so long as there are attached images.

    Much of the advanced capability is provided by the oik base plugin.

    The previous low ratings were applicable when the oik base plugin consisted of many plugins. This is no longer the case. Those plugins were extracted and made into standalone plugins a long time ago.

    I’ve only rated the slider as a 4 since it’s not the best on small screen smart phones and tablets and some of the transitions don’t appear to work. That’s a limitation of the jQuery.
