• Hello – I have found that there is conflict with the premium version of the Ultimately Social plugin (social media share and subscribe icons) that prevents the Power Press player and subscription buttons (on the player) from appearing on blog posts.

    When activated, the USM plugin seems to conflict when it places the icons below a post. I did try to flip the player to the top and the icons to the bottom (and vice versa) to see if that would solve the problem. It did not. I also looked to prevent the icons from appearing on posts (only) and that did not work either. Lastly, I tried using the icon placement through shortcode in a post and that also didn’t work. The player only reappeared on the posts when the USM premium plugin was deactivated.

    I did see on the blubrry support site to let them know about problematic plugins:

    But, I did not see where to submit such info to them. Any help, advice or the like is greatly appreciated. Happy New Year!

    Is the Ultimately Social plugin still active on your site? If so, can you post a link to a page on your site where you’re seeing the problem so we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Shawn – Not sure if my response got through. Thanks for responding. It is not activated as that would cause the player to not appear (this is critical to my site.) So, I have disabled Ultimately Social (as a lesser evil, if you will.)

    However, I would be happy to activate for a timeframe that works for you all to have a look. Also, I can provide you with login info if that is easier.
