Hello @telugubulletin and thanks for reaching out to us!

Is this happening on multiple browsers? When did it start? Was it after any updates to WordPress, themes, plugins, or PHP?

Do you have cache plugins on your site? If so, try to purge the cache and see if that helps.

Let me know what you find!

    Thanks!

    Hello,

We have started seeing this two days back on couple of URLs, Now we see this happening with more URLs. Yes, this is happening with chrome and edge, firefox. We use WP-ROCKET plugin and we use cloudflare CDN.

We did not update any plugins or themes before this happened. We somehow cleaned up the files and we are not getting this captcha error now. My question is how can we prevent this happening in the future.

We use free version of wordfence, does wordfence premium can help to prevent such attacks ?

    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hello again @telugubulletin

It’s hard to know what might prevent something like that if we don’t really know what caused it. In the past, I have seen a similar issue happen when a cache plugin needed to be purged, in your case this could have been your WP Rocket plugin. With regard to security, I just recommend always keeping everything up to date and maintaining good, complex passwords.

Let us know if you see this issue again!

    Thanks again for your support!

    Hello Adam,

Could you please let us know if we upgrade to Wordfence premium, would it provide any additional capability to delete or fix infected files ?

We were not able to fix or repair selective files from dashboard after scan results in free version.

    Rgeards,
    Venkat

The free version has the same repair feature as premium does.

Since this is a new issue that is unrelated to the previous issue you posted. You could open a new topic as per forum guidelines, for additional support. I would be glad to assist you with this issue!

    Thanks in advance!
