Potential bug when closing WP page
-
Dear all,
I am a WP/MemberPress user and might have come across a bug with Loggedin, which by the way I find to be an awesome plugin overall.
Here is how to replicate the bug:
1 – configure the LoggedIn settings as follows: Maximum active logins = 1; Login logic = block
2 – log in (as admin or as a “normal” user) without selecting the option “remember me”
3 – Close the WP page/browser
4 – Re-open the WP page
5 – Try to log in again with the same user/accountThe login page will then show that I reached the maximum number of logins.
I believe the error occurs because, when I take step 3 above, perhaps the system failed to automatically log me out. As a result, when I take step 5, the system still thinks I’m loggeg in.
This bug (if it is indeed a bug) means that, in practice, I have no option at present but to increase the number of maximum number of active logins. That in itself is a problem, as I want to allow only 1 device connected to the same account at the same time.
My plugins that were already ACTIVE and working fine before I installed & activated Loggedin:
– Duplicate Post
– Login or Logout Menu Item
– Math Captcha
– MemberPress Campaign Monitor
– MemberPress Plus
– Photection
– Really Simple SSL
– Responsive Pricing Table
– tagDiv Composer
– tagDiv Social Counter
– WPForce LogoutMy plugins that I only installed and activated after having installed and activated Loggedin and after noticing the above bug:
– Simple HistoryMy plugins that were already INACTIVE before I installed & activated Loggedin:
– Campaign Monitor Forms by Optin Cat
– Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd
– MemberPress Math CAPTCHA
– Optin Cat Elite
– WP RSS Aggregator – Feed to PostIf this is not a bug, could someone please clarify what I’ve done wrong?
If this is a bug, may I kindly ask for the developers to fix it at their earliest convenience?
Thank you all very much in advance.
