Posts won't display in 2012

  • Hello,

    I can’t get my posts to display at all. I accidentally deleted my functions.php file in my child theme and lost a bunch of code. Uhg.

    I can’t get them to come up on my “blog” page or to come up from direct links. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    I’m running a twentytwelve child theme.

    Try switching back to twentytwelve theme and see if that’s working.

    If it is you know that the deleted functions file was kind of needed ??

    It’s worth also checking the wordpress settings. Check the reading settings are correct for the front page. And for kicks update your permalinks settings.

    The twentytwelve theme works when I switched it back and I double checked my settings. Everything looks fine there.

    Hmmmm…I got a feeling it wasn’t good of me to delete my functions file. I’m mostly a copy and paste guy when it comes to code so it’s tough for me to figure this stuff out. Thanks for the help.
