    Hi,
The site I am working on is currently hidden by a Coming Soon page. I have added headers to all of the pages—a great improvement. Thank you for that.

The problem is that I would also like to give posts a banner image, with the image dictated by the assigned category. In the admin of the plugin I have done this, but the posts aren’t displaying with the images.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Please see following:

    1) Make sure that your posts are using the same header.php?

    2) Which page is in action? Check your body tag classes, is it single.php, page.php, archive.php, index.php or any other page?

    3) Did you try viewing the categories by “view” link from categories list by hover on category name?

I was trying to get these answers from the theme author. This was going anywhere so I found a script to use. When I view a post it is calling single.php. I am using a child theme which has it’s own header.php. The pages are all working with your plugin. I’m not sure how to check if the posts are calling the parent theme’s header.php or if this would make a difference.

I’m not sure what you mean in #3. My browser allows open and save link, but not view.

    Thank you

If you are using a child theme and it has header.php then, child theme’s header.php file will be used on first priority and you should call the shortcode in child theme’s header.php

Now I remember. I created the child theme so I could use your plugin. I have now tried the second code snippet for your plugin in the header.php and images for category don’t show with either one. The pages work beautifully, but no joy for the posts/categories. What else could be needed?

    Thank you

Yes, Ofcourse you can add header image to your post as per Category or Taxonomy, but these are pro version features, if you want these features you have to pro version of plugin.

    Thank You

Where is the Pro version available?
I am unable to find any information about it…

There is a Link to pro version at following location “dashboard > Settings > WP Header Images” then click on “How It Works?” Tab and Scroll down to end of the page Here is a link with the Label “Click here to go premium”.

We upgraded to Pro (should I be posting this somewhere else?), making progress but also have new issues. I am running all of this past the theme developers as well because we also upgraded the theme.

The category images now show, but that’s not working quite the way we thought it would. Is it possible to make posts show the header assigned to their category?

However, it appears that either the Pro version of the theme or of the plugin handles the size of header images differently. They are now much shorter/narrower throughout, cropping the images which were fully displayed in the two free versions. Also, the one on the Home page is showing up with a black background. It’s a .png so I can give it a background, but this wasn’t happening before the upgrades. Before I change the image I would like to resolve this so the full images are displaying again.

This thread is getting long so I’ll offer the reminder that the site is hidden by a Coming Soon page. We can’t launch it until this is sorted out.

Any assistance would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for supporting this piece of work by upgrading it to Premium version. You can still post the issues here if you find any because Free and Premium versions are in fact same except a few features so your findings will help the opensource world ultimately. I am interested to know the new issues you found.

It’s good that category images are showing but your requirement is slightly different, i want to understand the word “header” assigned. If you are referring to the header image, that’s understood.

What i understand, image size (full or cropped) responsiveness on mobile version and on different screen sizes are your concerns.

    Solution:

I will setup the another WordPress installation on some demo website for you and will invite you to test it there with me. You will upload your preferred images there and it will help me to properly understand the issue and its fix. Kindly reach me through this page so i can provide you login access to this demo setup.

    Thank you,
