Our client was looking for us to build a website but wanted it to run on their server (Windows server) and wanted us to use the SQL Server database setup that was already installed on their server. They had someone set up the server space, a new database and all the necessary php stuff and it seemed to be running ok at first.

I had started working on the theme on our Linux-based server and transferred the theme files over to their server after the space was set up. Once I started trying to add a couple posts and Widgets in, I started having troubles. When I go to Posts, next to All and Published it is showing that there are 6 posts, but none appear below for me to manage. They also do not show on the front page or under the Category links as they should at this point. Sometime after entering some php code into a few Widgets using the Executable PHP widget plugin, all that code disappeared too from Primary Widget Area that I had put that into.

I had changed the permalinks to /%category/%postname%/ but have since changed it back to the WordPress default to see if that had anything to do with it. I also tried changing the theme back to the default Twenty Eleven. Even after making these changes, I’m still having the same problems. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try to resolve this?

I’ve thought about trying to re-upload all the WordPress files to see if that has any affect on the issue, which I may try next.
