Posts under certain category not working. Help!

    Hey guys,

    I have a problem. I’m developing my new theme for WordPress, and I’ve realized that posts under a certain category don’t work. When you view the post URL it just redirects to the home page.

    Basically, I have Bands, Fashion, Interviews, Lifestyle, Photos, Reviews, and Tours as categories. Every post shows up when clicked from the home page except for posts in the Bands category.

    Now, I’ve tried this from my own custom theme, my custom iPhone theme, and the Twenty Ten theme… the posts wont show up, regardless of the theme, which leads me to believe that it’s internal (my database? functions file?).

    Can anyone offer any help with this?

  • Do you already have posts in that category? Can you try deleting the category and creating a new one (with the same name)?

    Also, you might try messing with the category “slug” to see if there’s some sort of conflict there.

    I ended up deleting ALL of the posts and categories in my new theme backend/installation and re-importing theme. All works good now.
