Posts revert to Draft form

  • All of my posts that had been published reverted to “Draft” for some unknown reason. I tried to re-publish them and that would seem to work at the time. I would hit “Publish” and then could see the post on the site, but not too much later I would go back and the post was offline again. Checking WP, I would find the post back in Draft status.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
