    Hello,

This plugin is nice and sweet. Love it.

However, I have a strange problem. All my Posts / Pages and Woocommerce Products disappear when the plugin is activated. I specify that they are not removed obviously, but they disappeared from my list when I browse the sections Posts / Pages / Products.

    https://zupimages.net/up/20/20/umfb.png
We can clearly see the number of Posts / Pages / Products at the top left.
Even if I click on All or Published or on Sort nothing does.

On the other hand, when I deactivate the plugin, everything comes back in order and I review all my lists.

    Thanks for your help.

PS : I note that this happen in Promo codes list in Woocommerce too.

Hi @ben69007, I am so sorry about that. I just released a new version (1.0.1) which should fix the issue. Can you please update to this new version and let me know if it working now?

Hello Codeer, no worries! Thank you for the quick reply ??

Yes it seems to work fine now. I see all posted Pages, Products, Promo codes.. and these sections load faster ?? I saw on your website that you have developped categories taxonomies for those sections too, so maybe there were a bug about that. Anyway, everything seems to be alright now. I will tell you if I note a problem.

I really like this plugin, especially since most of media managers so far have never really satisfied me. Your way is a smart way to manage the media library. I feel there is great potential so I decided to invest in your project.
    Here I am a happy file ??

    Hi again Codeer,

At the time I write this message and since about 5 minutes, Posts, Pages, Orders, and Coupon codes are visible, but Products not.
When I activate Post Type Products, I see them with the lateral HappyFiles menu, but when I disactivate Post Type Product everything (bot lateral menu and all products) disappear.

    Thank you

@ben69007 Are you running version 1.0.1?

Yes sure. Actually everything display. I don’t know why sometimes some list disappear while other are visible, and after some minutes everything is back to normal.

This is strange, it starts again since my last message. I hadn’t noticed but the problem persists. When I first try to activate Post Type Products to see how it was appear, I did go in Products and saw what I said before (the lateral HappyFiles menu and my products), but I didn’t create any categories. That was just to see how it appeared.

But Now, and this is systematic, when I disactivate Post Type Products in HappyFiles setup, I have nothing in Woocommerce Products. I got to let permanently activated Post Type Products to see my products :/

All others pages, posts, promo code and orders are OK, but I’ve never try yet to activate their respective Post Types becaus I don’t wan’t to take the risk to have the same bug.

    Thank you

    Hello Codeer,

I have found the bug !

    Do this :
    – All “Post types (PRO)” must be desactivated, and no Products Categories must be created before.
    – Then go to HappyFiles Settings
    – Select “Post types (PRO)” : Products, then validate
    – Go to Products
    – Everything is OK.
    – Do not create any Categories
    – Select “Uncategorized”
    – Go back to HappyFiles Settings
    – Unselect “Post types (PRO)” : Products, then validate
    – Go back to Products
    >>> the list disappear ??

To make appear it again, reactivate “Post types (PRO)” : Products, Go back to Products. Select ALL Product Categories, then desactivate “Post types (PRO)” : Products. Products’ list is back.

This bug appears with Orders, Posts, Pages.. too.

Well it’s not really a bug, but this is important to know that if we do this, there is a problem.

Sorry if my english is not fluant, i’m from France. If you don’t understand something, tell me.

@codeer While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.
