Hi there, I need a little clarification of the Query Loop Block.

As I see it the Query Loop Block is a Blog post design block, but it is not intentionel to use it on the Posts page which default shows Blog Posts without adding any blogs to the page.

If I add the Query Loop Block to the Posts page, I get duplicated posts.

So what would you recommend, if you want to change the design of the Blog Post on the Posts Page?

Should I create a new page containing the Query Loop Block, and select this as my default Posts Page in display settings?

I just starting working with posts, but hope my question makes sense.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

the options are many which can be good , but also confusing.

If you want to design your blog page with the Query Loop, then yes you would use a Static Page to display the Query Loop.

However it should be noted that, making your Category archives in the same way is more complicated. And maybe better handled by the Theme.
