Posts page linking to incorrect stack, not the blog content.

  • Ok, I am very new to this, and have done pretty well up until I encountered this puzzle.

    I have a blog page set, and when going to the reading menu > selecting “blog” as posts page > the “stories page content is displayed and all the blog information seems to be surpassed.

    I have tried setting to default permalinks, with no solution.

    I should mention I am using a custom theme called hi-response.

    Can anyone help me with what is going on?
