    Dear Anders Noren,

I am very new to WP, so sorry if this sounds too ignorant.

I’d like to be able to modify my posts page (News) a bit, let’s say, being able to display the latest item occupying two columns while the rest displayed one by one in three columns. Or display the posts as gallery items. Or I’d like to be able to dedicate a separate column to an archive, etc.

I guess this isn’t possible when I use the default “Post Archive” settings in your theme. Is there a practical way to do this if I create my custom “news” page with a feed of recent posts? The default recent posts feed does not do the job.

This is my second question already, I’m very thankful!
    All the best!

    Hi @goksunozhan,

No worries! The changes you mention are not possible out of the box in Chaplin. Some of them can be done with custom CSS, but some of them (like adding a separate column to an archive, or displaying the posts as gallery items) would require you to create a child theme and modify the PHP used to output the archive pages in Chaplin (which is handled in index.php in the theme).

Hi Anders, that sounds too complicated for me, maybe I’ll dive into that later on.
Thank you so much for your support!

    All the best,
