Posts Only Have One Sub Sitemap

It looks like your latest update doesn’t have any errors and is working fine but I noticed a major change. Is there a reason why you decided to have posts listed on one sub sitemap, not multiple?

This change means I have to set the number of links per page extremely high to make sure all of my posts are listed on the sub sitemap. I used to have the links per page set to 30 which broke up the sitemap into multiple sub sitemaps. I knew that your plugin would have all of my posts included. Now, I set the links per page to 2000 so the posts will all be included. Is there a way for me to not have any links per page setting while ensuring all posts are included? I should be fine with 2000 for a long time but if I forget post links will get cutoff at 2000.
