You may need to set your home as single post for this

It require a custom page template witha custom query to call the single post

The template can really be a copy of index.php, or one of your other templates with the header on it

I am a bit stumped when it comes to the conditional tags which sounds like a better way to go than the query_posts function.

Any ideas? imagine365 dot org

wanting each day’s post (with its own background) to be displayed on the homepage. Currently imagine365 dot org goes to .org/page/2
instead of:
.org/title-of-day-before-post

This means the same homepage background is showing each day instead of that day’s post’s background.

Any ideas how to code this with a conditional statement, much appreciated.
