Posts on different pages

Been looking through the forums and haven’t found anything. I am looking to have my posts go to a specific page on my blog instead of them all just going to the home page (may create a static homepage later, but not sure now). I want each category to post onto its own page. For example if I have a home page, page 1, page 2, and page 3. I want the category that corresponds to page 1 to post onto page 1 of my blog. I know wordpress has links to the different categories on the home page, but I want them to be on their own separate page (from the home page) automatically. Is this possible? Easy to do?
