Months ago, Google Search console alerted me to a major content mismatch between my AMP and non-AMP pages. Referenced was my blog’s pages (the list of my blog posts).

When I checked it out myself, I noticed that the AMP pages listing blog posts were missing a blog post occasionally here and there, causing the content mismatch.

I found to fix this, I could simply identify the missing posts on the AMP pages, go to the post, click edit, and just click save, which would resolve the issue for that particular post. I had to do this for over 20 posts. I fully corrected and resolved all the issues by doing this.

I’ve been keeping up to date with AMPforWP, and I’ve applied the last 2 updates that were released recently. Most recently on the weekend I applied the most recent update.

This morning I got another content mismatch notification, and noticed a total of 4 posts that this occured with again (fixed by going in to the post, clicking edit, and then clicking save).

Any idea why this might be happening?

    Cheers!

    Hello @stephenwagner7

    It’s strange.

Can you please share the URL of the Blog page so I can check the content,

This would seem to be the same issue I have also. While on the standard site my pages go up to /page/66 my amp pages only run to amp/page/61. This means that amp pages from 62-66 return a 404 and cause a major content mismatch issue in Google Search Console.

    Hi @ampforwp

The other day I had the issue on ever page on and after page 6:

After doing my “fix” where I identify missing posts, go to “All Posts” select edit, and hit save, I’ve since fixed it. But I have a feeling this may occur again on certain updates.

I can’t remember specifically which posts there were this round, but it was around 4 or 5. The first time I identified this issue back 4 months ago, there was over 20.

    Cheers

Also a new bug, noticing major content mismatches on category pages.

Non-amp category page shows numerous posts (10), whereas the amp category page only shows 4 posts

    Non-Amp:

    AMP:
    https://www.stephenwagner.com/category/storage/amp/page/2/

Please note, the AMP on desktop works fine, it’s only AMP on mobile that shows 4 posts instead of 10.

EDIT: Found out this issue was being caused by a conflicting 3rd party plugin providing pages to mobile devices.

As of right now everything is good.

I mentioned before I fix the issue by going in to the missing posts, and clicking Update.

If the issue occurs again, I’ll make sure to send you an e-mail.

    Thank you!

[removed it and going to post as new thread, sorry]
