Posts on a blog page

This is probably a silly question but I can’t see the solution in the WP Dashboard. I’ve created a lot of posts with various content however I want them to be displayed on a page but not sure how to get them across (besides creating a link, highlight and inserting the URL) in the form of an update. Small box preview that you see on standard blogs.

Apologies if this is a daft question :s I’m creating a game related site with various reviews linked to other pages and I invested in the Arras theme to help me create something half decent.

One part of this will be a Home page with updates and I was wondering if its possible to have another page showing the same sort of thing, effectively two update pages where I can select the posts to show.
