Posts not updating with new date

Hopefully replacing Tao Scheduled Updates with this but having an issue with the post date.

I unchecked the “Preserve Date” setting (also tried with it checked).

We Revisionize a post, schedule it to be published in the future.

When Cron runs at the appropriate time, the post IS in fact being updated in terms of the content. But the date is not being updated. The original date is still being displayed.

How can we fix this. We need the date to show the new date it’s being published on.
