Posts not showing on homepage —?Dashboard says “Write your first blog post”.

    Hello,

    My posts stopped showing up on the homepage under our slider. When I go into my dashboard it says “Write your first blog post” and when I go preview the other theme’s I’m getting a message that says “Nothing Found
    Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.”

    I have over 500+ blog posts that show up under our index but are not showing up on homepage. If you look at my current homepage, there is just a slider — I adjusted my current homepage to not contain posts as the site had a giant blank space under where the posts were supposed to go. Under the slider there is supposed to be a list of recent posts but they completely disappeared. How do I fix this!? Where did these posts go and why did they stop showing up?

    I tried going into Settings > Reading > Front Page Display > Most Recent Posts but that didn’t work. Why is it showing I haven’t written any posts? Any help is appreciated!!

    Thanks for your response. Does this involve going into the FTP plug in folder?

    I’m inexperienced with this.

    Hi @eands,

    no, please go to “Plugins” admin section and simply deactivate my plugin (Permalink Manager) from the dashboard. Then, add the widget with posts again to the homepage template.

    Thanks so much! I deactivated all the plug ins and was able to find which plugin was causing the error.
