Posts not showing in Sitemap

    My sitemap, using Yoast: https://whattogetmy.com/sitemap_index.xml

    Sitemap tells me that my site is having technical difficulties when I try to load the sitemap for posts:

    https://whattogetmy.com/post-sitemap.xml

    Each other link works correctly (page/project/author).

    I have disabled the sitemap feature in Yoast, saved, enabled it, same problem.

    I have disabled Yoast, deleted it, reinstalled it and same problem occurs.

    I have disabled all of our plugins, same problem.

    I have contacted my host (bluehost) and they wiped the cache, no luck there either. I have wiped the cache in my WP Super Cache plugin (deleted and shut off cacheing until this problem is fixed)

    The only way I’ve been able to make it work is by switching our theme from Divi to the 2019 theme (by WordPress) – that works.

    …But the rest of my sites work great with Yoast + the Divi theme, AND this site had previously worked great as well, so I’m not sure why it’s giving me this problem.

    Any ideas?

    I tested the sitemap index and each of the sub-sitemaps in a few tools. Each sitemap loaded without any errors. Is the issue still happening for you?

    for my site also sitemap is not working with yoast seo.

    @digitalstrategist in your case, XML Sitemaps seem to be disabled completely. Please go to SEO → General → Features and make sure that XML Sitemaps are enabled. If the issue persists, please open a new topic, as this one is about a different issue.

    @yoursiteguru I’ve also checked the XML Sitemaps, each of them loaded fine. If you’ve managed to fix this issue in the meantime, please mark this topic as resolved.

    I had my host update all requirements for the Divi theme (my current theme) and everything magically started working.

    Magic is real, I guess.
