• I just upgraded to version 3.0.3 an hour ago and my posts aren’t showing in the Control Panel. They’re not showing in the List View nor the Excerpt View but the number of posts are showing next to “All”, “Published” and “Drafts”. When i try to add a new post, it only allows me to compose it in the HTML View and the Publish button isn’t showing anymore. In fact, that whole right side of functions (Publish, Schedule, Tags, etc) isn’t showing anymore.

My posts are showing on my site’s main page but they’re not in the Control Panel… what should i do?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

I just now tried that and nothing changed.

Whilst your plugins are still inactive and and you’re still using Twenty Ten, try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress and re-running the upgrade manually using /wp-admin/upgrade.php

I am also having this problem.

    It persists after:

    • Deactivating all plug-ins.
    • Reverting to the Twenty Ten theme
    • Replacing wp-admin and wp-includes
    • …and re-running /wp-admin/upgrade.php (it said I was all set, didn’t need to, gave me a continue button, sent me to the home page – no errors)

This particular blog is hosted on MediaTemple GS service. (Another thread indicated this might be the issue — rather, they copied their install over to another host and the problem went away — whether the issue is specific to MT or not, really, I don’t know and nothing explaining what about MT’s environment might contribute to the issue was shared.)
