Posts not showing in categories view

  • Hi,

    When I click on the navigation menu the categories do not show any posts.
    Also in the footer no posts are shown.

    The top slider with “featured category” does not show.

    I did not do any customization, just the regular plugin updates.

    I use a child theme.

    What can I do?

    Could be a plugin conflict. What happens if you disable the WP Hide Post plugin?

    That solves the problem ??

    Does this mean that I cannot use the plugin WP Hide Post?
    Or is there another solution?

    I don’t know anything about how the plugin works; there may be a configuration issue or maybe a compatibllity conflict with the theme. It hasn’t been updated since July 2015 but it appears that the plugin author is active on the plugin support forum.
