Posts not showing after using the home widgets

    For the past few days I have tried everything possible and nothing helps. It takes too long to get help from the theme themselves. I am trying to find a magazine type theme for my baseball blog. The issue I am having with every theme is when I go to appearance and widgets and then put the posts into the widgets for home but nothing ever shows whether I am using this theme or another, as it shows in the demos. Nothing at all shows up besides the “breaking news” scrolling at the top with the most recent posts. What am I doing wrong? What can I do to fix this.

    In general all you need to do to get your posts to appear on the home page is to go to the general settings and select posts rather than pages. your most recent posts will appear on the home page then. If you are adding a widget outside of the ones supplied with the theme their documentation should show how to use it.

    Note: you have missing to create Homepage with page template and go to settings >> reading setting and select homepage then all widget is working fine. also, see below step

    HomePage Setting
    1. Log into your WordPress site and open the Administration Panel.
    2. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New
    3. Enter the Page Title for the Page. You do not require to enter anything in the content section for creating a home page.

    4. Select the Home Page Template from the Page Attributes section.
    Click Publish

    1. Configuring the Front Page display setting
    2. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
    3. Go to Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page.
    4. Select A static page under Front Page displays.
    Click Save & Publish.
