• Really struggling to work out why my latest post will not go to the top and be the first post seen on my website. None of my posts are ‘sticky’. I have disabled all of the plugins and nothing has changed.

Reading tab shows ‘Front page shows latest posts’

Writing page has ‘WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically’ ticked.

Seems to be a common problem but I can’t seem to fix the problem. HELP!!

  • It might be your theme. Check the file that’s generating that specific page of blog posts, depending on what method was used to create a list of posts we can figure out how to change order in which posts are displayed.

I have tried changing the theme and used Twenty Eleven and Twenty 14 which seem to work fine. Is there any way I can keep my current theme and have new posts appearing at the top of my blog?
