Posts not formatting properly on home page

Currently I am trying wordpress at localhost and with many themes it seems that posts don’t format properly on home page i.e. I am going with a bulleted list but on home page the posts don’t have any list style but when I go to the specific post page the list style is there as intended.

Is there any way that I can make post formatted properly on home page also as intended?
