Posts not following order in Grid layout

  • hi,

    i’m using the Grid layout, with 4 grids, and ‘order grid item by:Created date (default)’.

    and instead of showing the posts following the horizontal grid order, it′s following a vertical order.

    i mean, if i number the first row of columns horizontaly 1, 2, 3 and 4,
    i believe the posts should be showing according this order, right?
    but instead it’s going
    1st post on 1,
    2nd post on 5,
    3rd post 9,
    etc.

    i’m in WP version 5.5.1, but noticed the same issue on previous versions;
    and last version of Bento theme.

    i disabled all plugings except the ones that comes with Bento theme.

    could anybody help me sorting this out?
