Posts Not Being Shared Today

    Blog2Social seems not to be sharing my new posts to Twitter or Facebook today and is also causing a delay when I press to publish a new post (i.e. the browser spends a long time thinking about it, which doesn’t occur if the social posting feature or plugin is disabled). I assume this is another issue with remote database delays on the plugin’s side.

    When sharing a post it worked out properly on Facebook and Twitter. May I ask you if you have changed anything on your website since you’re facing this?

    How do you proceed when sharing your posts with Blog2Social?
    Are you using the auto-poster or do you click on “Social Media Posts” -> “Share on Social Media”?

    Do you receive any notifications regarding your posts in Blog2Social?

    The auto-poster and no changes on the site, it just suddenly started. In the past hour or so I’ve noted that new posts are getting shared again and the older posts have also now been shared, although there’s still a bit more lag than usual after you press ‘publish’ on a new article, before the social sharing process completes.

    Thank you for your reply.

    After various tests with the auto-poster in a clean test environment, I am unfortunately unable to reproduce the behavior you described. The posts are published immediately on Facebook and Twitter.

    Is it possible that you have enabled a delay in the auto-poster settings?

    Problems again today. Seems to be taking about 6-15 minutes for new posts to reach our social media channels, which suggests sluggish performance on the B2S side. Normally we have a 1-minute delay on the auto-poster, so this is abnormal.

    Some posts didn’t make it through to any of our social media channels yesterday evening or this morning. No reports of any problems under ‘Notifications’ and I did check all the network connections to make sure they were functional. Looks like I’m back to manual sharing for a bit as the auto-poster seems to becoming unreliable.

    We have the same issue. Was taking forever to post new stories. Now, it has stopped working apart from some random articles that keep getting reposted. Something is very wrong.
