Posts not being picked up by Google

    On my site vegaspublicity.com I post 6-10 articles every day. Usually one photo and several paragraphs of text. And every day I go to Google and check “site:vegaspublicity.com” and select “Past 24 Hours” and it almost always shows 0 results or occasionally 1 result.

    I looked in Google Webmaster and many of the articles are claimed to be in Google but I can’t find most of them in Google.

    I stumbled upon some info in Google Webmaster that listed a bunch of articles as “Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag” so I went into AIOSEO and only found Tags being blocked so I unblocked them. Now some tags are appearing in Google but hardly any recent articles. Is there some other AIOSEO setting that might be blocking articles?

    Also, the articles that do show up appear at an average low position of 30 in Google.

    Throughout the day I check WP-UsersOnline and hardly ever see a referral from Google.

    Incidentally, I have the same “Last 24 Hours” problem on Bing.

    @moviedebuts if you’ve submitted your sitemap in Google Search Console, there’s really not much you can do. Google does not necessarily revisit your website every day.

    Since you publish news, you might want to try and get verified as a Google News publisher. That would probably significantly speed up the time it takes for Google to index any new pages in your sitemap.

    You might also want to post this in the Google Search Console forums to see if they have any suggestions.

    Can you give me an example of an article where it said “excluded by noindex”?
