Posts Not Appearing….

Hi, I recently moved wordpress (3.0.4) from Vardox.com/blog to Vardox.com, and I have had several problems. On of the problems, is that once I make a post, and publish it, it does not appear on the main page unless I am logged in.
I have reason to believe that my wp-content directory is not write-able due to this error message:
“Page caching is not available: advanced-cache.php is not installed. Either the html/wp-content directory is not write-able or you have another caching plugin installed. This error message will automatically disappear once the change is successfully made.”
And I do not have any other caching plugins.
