  • Are you referring to where the posts are showing up, or to where clicking on a link brings you?

What are your settings under the Options > Miscellaneous tab?

(Do NOT change the URI values if they’re different just yet, but check to see that they’re the same)

    under options>miscellaneous it says wp-content/uploads

I am referring to what website my new posts show up on. It just happened again. If you go to my homepage, https://www.jaxparrothead.com you will see that the last post I made was from yesterday. If you go to https://www.jaxparrothead.com/blog you will see that the last post was just put up this morning. That post, titled “testing” only shows up when you but the /blog on the end of the url, it does not show up on my home page. You will also notice that the counters are different for both pages.

This started the day before yesterday, and it does not happen all the time. When I go to publish a new post i just hit the ‘publish’ button.

    I do appreciate the help

I think lady meant: Options > General; check the two URI values…
What is your general setup? Where do you want your blog to be displayed? at the root or in the “blog” folder? – You have to make a decision!

Too early in the morning, moshu – thanks for clarifying! ??

jax – you need to check those two values – but don’t change them until you check back here first… there’s a little process to this if you make a certain change…

they both say “https://jaxparrothead.com/blog”, I have not made any changes to that page.

Like it say, everything was going to my main .com page until wed morning, now some of the posts go to the .com page and some go to the .com/blog page.

    thanx

sorry, i also meant to say that i want everything to go to my home page, which is the .com page, not the .com/blog page

    thanx

everything was going to my main .com page until wed morning,

With the setup you described (both URIs pointing to /blog) that’s impossible – unless you have some specific redirect, htaccess, home page plugin or something like that.

is it as simple as just changing the blog address from https://www.jph.com/blog to https://www.jph.com?

trying to figure it out on my own, but I am afraid of doing something stupid and messing everything up. been there done that.

No, it is NOT that simple.
You didn’t answer any of my questions till now… so it’s difficult to help. Don’t throw in new ideas – just stick to answers!
