Posts Menu is hidden for editor despite being unticked

    Hi I have unticked the posts option for the editor role but still, the menus is now showing up ?

    Thank you for the contacting to us.

    If post menu is unticked and still that menu is hidden then there may be some extra code or other plugin is made this thing.

    If you still think it is due to our plugin then you can deactivate our plugin and check post menu will be appeared.

    If it is appread that mean some issue in our plugin then we will solve it.

    If menu is still hidden that means some other script or other plugin is hiding that menu.

    I have tested below things to try to regenerate your issue.

    – Create the user with editor role.
    – Login with editor role in incognito browser.
    – checked post menu for the editor role in the hide admin menu page by admin.
    – Refreshed the screen of the editor role and found that post menu is hidden.
    – Unchecked the post menu for the editor role in the hide admin menu page by admin.
    – Refreshed the screen of the editor role and found the post is shown again.

    So everything is find with our plugin.

    I am facing the same issue.

    I hid ‘Appearance’, ‘Tools’ and ‘Settings’ for Editor and subsequent roles (except for admin). When I unchecked ‘Appearance’, it still remained hidden.

    After reading the comments here, I deactivated the plugin. When deactivated, ‘Tools’ is displayed but ‘Appearance’ and ‘Settings’ are still hidden.

    I have no other menu related plugins installed on the application.
