Posts listing contains another listing within & images doesn't show

I like Posts for page very much. I like that I can have a pic, an excerpt in a list to preview past articles.
Sometimes and I have’t figured out why an article appears within the listing of another article.

The introduction text of the article “Orchids ? Irish Wild Marsh Orchid” starting from Irish Orchid appears in the listing for the Cornmarket, “Wexford Town ? Mushrooming eCar power points” Article. If I wish to go to the eCar article I must hit title. clicking the read more brings me to the orchid article.

Some times reloading the featured image corrects the problem. Or copying and pasting the content, tags etc to a new post and resetting the day around the time the original published fixes the problem. Occasionally it doesn’t sort out the issue. Has anyone else had this happen? I’m still going through the previous Post-for-page trouble shooting posts.
