Posts in Trash can be viewed by all users

  • I am using wp 2.9.1 on one of our sites and I noticed that a page that was deleted was being shown on our sites visitor stats. I assumed it had not been deleted. When I checked, I could not find the post. Then I looked in the trash and there it was. However, when using the frontend, I can still view the post if I request it by number or name in the address.
    I assume this is not normal and that trash should not be viewable by users. Has anyone else had this problem?

    It would seem that this issue was highlighted in the latest 2.9.2 release. I wonder when Thomas Mackenzie discovered this issue.
