• I made a horse breading website with WordPress for my friend who is a horse breeder. I would like to find a way to layout horses the horses on the static page to show each one with pictures. Pretty much have a way like the blog works with posts. I used the blog page as a sales page to show each horse and info using posts. Is their something I can use on the static pages for kinda the same effect?

    Here is the website:

    Thank you!

  • Not quite sure what you want. Please explain more. Do you want to show the same posts on the static page that you see on the blog page or from another source?

In any case, I think that you will need a second loop in the static page template that pulls records from some source. The source could be all blog posts, only certain categories of blog posts, or a custom post type.

I would like to be able to do posts on more than one page. I don’t need comments, I would just like to be able to do posts on a separate static page, separate from the posts on the blog page. it just makes it simple to to make a nice list with info & pictures for each horse.

It would be nice for the front page to be able to show the posts from the for sale page. For sale page is set as my blog page. I tried using a widget recent comments, but it doesn’t lay them out the same way the for sale page does.

As I said before, you will probably need to include a second loop in the template that your static page uses.

Since you are using a paid theme (Platform Pro, I think), I can’t look at the code to tell you where to make the changes. I understand that Platform has a good support group, so maybe you can get an answer there.
