Posts don′t assign proper to Categories

  • Hi,
    i got a pretty large problem. i′m currently setting 6 worpress installation up. everyone got his own database and his (her?) own webspace… but one problem came to me in every single installation (they all got different or no plugs and themes): I can create categories and subcategories, but when i try to assign posts to categories, they always go into ‘undefined’ (or ‘allgemein’ in german)… i tried to assign to ‘undefined’ PLUS another categorie (and tried this with subcategorie as well)… NO CHANCE. I′m really frustrated at the moment. One more thing: even when i try to call the categories, there alway only shows ‘undefined’ up. For e.g:

    <?php wp_list_categories('sort_column=menu_order&depth=1&title_li='); ?>

    when i try to add the cats to the menu… ?? I don′t know further. Sorry for my lame english. I hope you will give some help…

    update: i saw on my ‘dashboard’/’Tellerrand’, that there are 4 Posts in 4 Categories… which is still … wrong.

    SOLVED: me is stupid. activated a limit-category-per-userrole plugin… that – per default – deactivates all rights … even for the admin
