Posts do not open

    Hi Anders and team,

    i changed my theme to HITCHCOCK; which I like very much. ??
    Everything with the pages worked well, the whole content was transferred.

    But unfortunately it’s not possible to open the blog-posts on the website.
    All posts (3) are in the category ‘start’. Maybe I did something wrong with pages, menue or category?

    Hi @jesch,

    I’m glad you like Hitchcock! Do you mean that your old site had posts that are not displayed now that you’ve switched themes? It’s possible that your old theme used a custom post type for blog posts, resulting in them not being displayed in a theme that uses the default “post” post type for blog posts.

    Can you still access the missing content from the WordPress administration panel, or are they missing there as well?

    Hey Anders,

    thank you for your reply. In the meantime I solved the problem with help from the german WordPress support. The mistake was, that I chose the false permalink ending option (category). Since changing it to ‘postname’, everything works fine. ??
