• Do not know what but after a certain update, the presence inline of the [restrict][/restrict] indicators (eg. inside a tag LI to restrict a deepening link) broke the code and eliminated part of the content (anchors, text and even subsequent LI tags)!

This happens only during the post editing but the problem is that I did not notice it immediately and after saving now I have all the articles truncated in various parts!

    This is very frustrating!

Hi. Sorry for the trouble. Just I can be sure what’s going on, I need to ask more questions to have a better idea of what your install is like: Are you using Gutenberg or a page builder and if so, what kind? What theme are you using? What version of RC are you running? Could you share a screenshot from you code editor of how you are adding the [restrict} tags?I must say that the recent updates that we have made have more to do with payment gateways?

    1. I use Gutenberg
    2. I use Themify (but in this case I think there is no connection, it is a backoffice problem)
    3. I am running currently the last version and the problem is still active
    4. I put the [restrict] in paragraphs and in lists always typing manually
    5. I always check and they work… until I edit the post -> the [restrict] mentions disappear (completely, from the source code) and even part of the subsequent code/content -> I save -> I LOSE the content
    6. The revision where I noticed the loss of content is 2023-05-09
02:31:32 (probably all the updates I did in the last months are corrupted… I have to check better for all the other occurrences)

Now I am in big troubles because on one side I cannot deactivate the plugin on the other I cannot restore the missing texts or create/update any content without causing other disasters…

    What should I do?

The first thing I would do is verify if there is a theme or plugin conflict. Here is some info about how to go about testing while not impacting what the users on the front end see: https://help.ithemes.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003073433-Checking-for-a-Conflict
