Gotcha. Thanks! It seems that it doesn’t apply to my older posts. Do you happen to know why it might only apply to posts i’ve created after installing the plugin?

(Realize thats a broad question.. but just wondering if you’d encountered it previously)

I installed it and am having the same problem as I was before. When someone goes to share a post on Facebook it seems to ignore my featured image and excerpt and grabs the last image on the page and the very first text…

I tried another plugin and it also didn’t work.

Any thoughts?

In this instance it’s probably FB pulling whatever they want. They do that very often. Have you used the FB debugger the plugin links to? It’ll help clear their cache and you can also view the raw scrape to see what they see versus what they end up showing on their end.
