Posts connected to other Posts

  • I’d like a way to connect Custom Posts to other Custom Posts, when Custom Fields or Taxonomies aren’t enough. For example:

    A website with various courses (custom post: Course).
    Each class has various teachers (custom post: Teacher).
    An editor of a Course would be able to link straight through to a Teacher, ideally just by seeing a list of all the teachers and clicking on an associated checkbox.

    Unless I’m mistaken, you can’t do this currently.

    Any ideas? Any plugins that do this already? Am I missing something obvious?

    Not sure I explained it well earlier…

    So if I am editing a Course custom-post I can connect 3 teachers to it. If I look at a Teacher custom-post I can see what Courses they teach.
