Posts change from standard to link format suddenly!

I’ve updated to the WP 3.9 and updated my theme. I’m now having issues with my posts being changed from the selected ‘standard’ format to a ‘link’ format when I save the post. When I tried to publish my post with the ‘standard’ radio button checked, it posted as a ‘link’ format. Once I changed it back again to the ‘standard’ version I originally checked, it changed my post from public to draft and back to the link format.

I’ve cleared my cache, re-installed WP and deactivated all of my plug-ins. I don’t know what to do next. Please help!
