Posts by main menu category + thumbnail

  • Hi,

    as you can see on my travel blog, the main menu contains categories ans subcategories.

    In the right sidebar, I wish to have :

    1 – the list of posts from the category/subcategory choosen in main menu

    2 – a thumbnail on each post.

    Could you help me to do that please ?

    Hi Shannon,

    no sorry this plugins doesn’t work like I would : it doesn’t show the posts linked to the menu.

    For exemple : if I click on “Argentine” in the menu, I can’t see the posts about “Argentine”.

    To work well this plugins need to know the current category_ID in parameter : how to do that ?

    You would need to get creative to be that specific.

    Code in a sideber based on the page – i.e. if on Category page “artgentine” call the argentine-sidebar and in that sidebar, use Better Recent Posts and filter by category “Argentine”

    I don’t think there is a simple, easy fix for this.
