Posts by Email: Using an email addresses for multiple categories

  • I have a WP site where I would like to have multiple email addresses for various users. The problem is that each user would like to email their posts and have them automatically placed in multiple categories without using the [category x,y,z] tag in the email. I have read this page (https://support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/). Is it possible to have a separate script for each user that would have built-in categories for email posts?

    Hi Mark,

    Did you manage to get it working like this.

    I know it should be possible using the postie plugin.
    And add a filter through postiefilter.php

    However I am no php programmer and have not yet got the code right.
